2006-10 DODGE CHARGER CUSTOM SHAKER SYSTEM Designed to be installed on your OEM/Factory aluminum hood, this system is a great advantage over purchasing an after market fiberglass hood since your factory aluminum hood will not require the additional expense of painting the entire hood and blending in the fenders and nose for a perfect match. Also it will not warp and become wavy from the extreme heat like most fiberglass hoods tend to do. The hole in the OEM hood must be cut using a jigsaw; Of course all templates, necessary hardware and instructions along with a thorough online assembly pictorial are included for an easy and successful installation of the bottom hood brace and trim ring - email us if you would like the link. This kit is functional in the way that it routes cold air to the air box if a CAI cold air intake is used. This version is not a sealed system but it will deliver plenty of cold air directly to the top of your existing CAI or can be installed directly over your stock air box as well; This Kit fits the 5.7L Hemi, but can be upgraded to work with the srt8 6.1L Hemi for an additional charge.
